It's a fandom thing - some people who didn't like Ginny called her a slut and whore because she canonically had multiple boyfriends. Other people were pissed off about it. It got wanky, and was reported to f_w. And, like lots of things reported to f_w, it became an injoke.

Basically, I don't think either of the characters are whores, I'm being sarcastic.
