Ah yes, the ending of the reign of Bush and Cheney. Oh, joyous day.
Though I do wonder what comedians are going to use as fodder for political jokes from now on. Those two were a wonder when it came to providing material for mockery.

This is very true. Jon Stewart has been mourning the loss of Bush-as-comedy-fodder since November. Every time Bush did another classic WTF thing Stewart would look at the camera and say with real feeling "I'm going to miss him."
Australia had a bit of that when Rudd was voted in. He ended up proving comedy fodder, but it just isn't the same...
President Obama can be funny but he's not irretrievably stupid and that's where comedy gold is mined.
I'm feeling sorry for Jon Stewart but I feel sorrier for Stephen Colbert, who made a career of being a Bush acolyte. Colbert took one little swipe at President Obama on his show and got booed. It's going to be a big change for him even if he is in reality a major Obama supporter.
I think they have high hopes for Dr. Jill Biden. Now I feel sorry for her.

I now I've seen a lot of comments on the Bidens - both of them - being gaff-prone, so it seems the comedians are holding out for them.
