This goes out to the people I know in RL, but I am rather disappointed with you lot. Why? Because of your complete and utter lack of response, online or in the real world, I, yet again, had no real celebration for my birthday.
It was so nice of you to pay no attention to it at all, really.
The exception to this, of course, is
fa11ing_away, who was nice and lovely, and so we went out and had dinner at Pancake Parlour (mmm, pancakes), and then wandered up to Eurotrash to have Absinth. And Pocky.
They were both very good.
And we also went on a Croft Institute adventure, actually managing to find the damn place, which was fun. It also has the best decor of a bar ever. Oh, and the bartender was a guy who I went to school with, and when he found out it was for my birthday, gave us drinks for half price.
(Also, he initially didn't recognise me, because of the blonde hair, which was just weird. Seriously, it doesn't look that different, does it?)
Then we wandered up to Cab Noc again, which was rather busy. I love the outfits there, they are so cool. And the music isn't bad either. And the entire night was worth it just to see the Goths all flee when the DJ put Franz Ferdinand on.
*pouts* I'm going to go and eat my birthday Pocky now. It's yummy.
In other flist-ish type stuff, a whole bunch of randoms I have never spoken to, or even heard of before have friended me. WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?

And Pancake Parlour is just the most delicious meal out there. If only I could afford it.

I know the feeling rather too well. I've been very out-of-things over the last month or so because of crazy work. I also felt I probably wasn't a good enough friend to come on Birthday outings. But I still wish I had paid more attention and at least thought to say something at Cab Noc before I had to disappear early and crash.

I didn't hear it was your b'day until a few days ago, and by then my days (until middle of next week) had already been organised. And evidently my happy birthday sms didn't get through (damned phone).
Really sorry about the kinda screwy stuff, I guess not being around the basement much is leaving me quite out of the loop on some things.
So *BIG Hugs*, and very belated and apologetic Happy Birthday.

And no SMSes were received.
And it isn't so belated since it's actually today, I was just getting some pre-Birthday emo going.

Happy advance birthday, and I shall wish you a proper one in my journal tomorrow when I have caught up with your crazy side of the world. ::mutters about how being in PT makes me behind everyone::

(I thought I had already wished you happy birthday, but in the multitude of other birthdays that proliferate in the month of May, I may have inadvertently missed yours. If so, I'm very sorry I didn't say anything.)

My intention was not to ignore you, as that would be rather horrid.
The crazy thing is that my little brother's birthday is on the same day! I spent the day making cake and spending rather arduous times in a car with 3 eight-year-old boys *shudders*
So, in a massive apology I give you *HUG OF HUGGY AWESOMENESS* along with a badly sung rendition of Happy Birthday (you're rather lucky that you're in another suburb for that one).
HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Someone should give you them, but I am in NZ so all I can do is wish
...and hope I'm not too late, due to damned time differences.
I assume I'm not one of the randoms?
