This goes out to the people I know in RL, but I am rather disappointed with you lot. Why? Because of your complete and utter lack of response, online or in the real world, I, yet again, had no real celebration for my birthday.

It was so nice of you to pay no attention to it at all, really.

The exception to this, of course, is [livejournal.com profile] fa11ing_away, who was nice and lovely, and so we went out and had dinner at Pancake Parlour (mmm, pancakes), and then wandered up to Eurotrash to have Absinth. And Pocky.

They were both very good.

And we also went on a Croft Institute adventure, actually managing to find the damn place, which was fun. It also has the best decor of a bar ever. Oh, and the bartender was a guy who I went to school with, and when he found out it was for my birthday, gave us drinks for half price.

(Also, he initially didn't recognise me, because of the blonde hair, which was just weird. Seriously, it doesn't look that different, does it?)

Then we wandered up to Cab Noc again, which was rather busy. I love the outfits there, they are so cool. And the music isn't bad either. And the entire night was worth it just to see the Goths all flee when the DJ put Franz Ferdinand on.

*pouts* I'm going to go and eat my birthday Pocky now. It's yummy.

In other flist-ish type stuff, a whole bunch of randoms I have never spoken to, or even heard of before have friended me. WHO ARE YOU PEOPLE?

Seriously? I thought that was one of those things that only happened in stories.

Seriously. And so did I! It was kinda freaky when we exchanged photos and started looking for family resemblances.

Kinda cool though--I always wanted an older brother when I was little.

That's very weird, but very cool. *sighs* My family is just so very dull, really.

Heh. My family not only has a complete lack of adopted out children, we also have no people getting married whilst pregnant, no births before wedlock, no step-families, no divorces, no major fallings out, nothing.
